SYNOPSIS / PLOT:

SYNOPSIS / PLOT:

The film “The Last Lear” was initially made in English and the film has been dubbed in Hindi to be released in India. The film will show Hindi movie actor Amitabh Bachchan doing character like Shakespearean characters, a very rare phenomena found in Hindi cinema but the concept has been tried and re-tried in Hollywood and it brought fame to Hollywood actors like Al Pacino, Sir Peter O Toole and Joseph Fiennes.

The film story is about Harry a 65 year old, eccentric, passionate, a kind of Shakespeare stage actor and he is a great fan of “The Master”. The actor once meets a movie director Siddhartha, a new man belonging to coming generation and he has a vision to see the unknown. He can do anything to meet his wishes. Both Siddhartha and Harry are very different from other and when they meet they get along very soon.

Siddhartha offers Harry with a role in his upcoming film and after initial reluctance Harry accepts to do the tough role of his life. Being new to acting in cinemas Harry initially finds that he is learning new things and doing things different from what he has been doing. He meets an actress Shabnam who is having a tough personal life and he helps her out of the professional problems and the personal problems of her life.

The shootings take place amidst mountains and beautiful landscapes and Harry couldn’t realize that by the time passes he has just turned into the director’s joker, he did everything he was told and with the crew member enjoying the new life, Harry forgets his own life. After the last shot something happens at the sunset, Harry’s memory fades and he couldn’t remember anything accept the words of “The Master."

Synopsis

SYNOPSIS / PLOT:

"WEDNESDAY" tells the story of certain events that unfold between 2 and 6 pm on a particular Wednesday - events which do not exist in any record but which deeply effects the lives of those involved.
Prakash Rathod, Commissioner of Police, Mumbai (played by Mr Anupam Kher) gets a call demanding the release of four militants in lieu of information on bombs that the man has planted in various parts of the city. At first, Prakash suspects it to be a crank call but his doubts are dispelled once he actually finds a bomb planted in the police station right opposite his Police Headquarters.
Now Prakash Rathod is in a real dilemma. Should he release the militants? Militants who have been caught at the cost of lives of police officers in the first place? Militants who are responsible for unaccountable damage to civilian lives and property? Militants who will cause further damage in the coming years, if let go scott free? Or should he just think of all the innocent people who will die today if he decides not to let them go?
Prakash Rathod is not a man who would give up so easily. He gets a team of his best men together and taps all his resources - he was going to leave no stone unturned in his mission to track down the man. He even hires a 17 year old hacker to help his team trace the calls and hence the location of this man.
Meanwhile, he comes across Naina Roy, a wannabe-something news channel reporter (played by Ms Deepal Shaw) who also has been tipped off by an anonymous caller. Time passes without any concrete results on the identity of the caller. The film Summer 2007 is about unfocused energetic rich college students who are forced into a social cause of farmer suicide while serving their internship as medical students in a village. The film is similar to Rang De Basanti because it shows youngsters not interested in taking up serious life matters in the first half and when life makes them to face a severe social situation they end up in a life threatening situation. The film has an inspiring script with many unexplained loopholes.

The music is not very striking and performance of actors is a drawback for the intense film. Gourov Das Gupta is the composers of the music of the album Summer 2007 that has a few youthful party songs.
